On Valentine’s Day of 1972, Mr. Mustafa Sulaiman, who had a deep passion for Mandheling coffee, founded PT. Menacom Ltd. Over time, the company established itself as one of the largest coffee exporters in the Northern part of Sumatra, sourcing exceptional quality Arabica beans from North Sumatra and Aceh.
In 2018, PT. Menacom underwent a transformation, becoming PT. Musfaha Niaga Mandiri to better reflect our commitment to sustainable coffee export. Step by Step!
The name ‘Musfaha’ pays homage to our late founder and his wife.

Our journey began with combining the passion for coffee with a vision for commerce. Through the ups and downs of entrepreneurship, we strive to grow into a more responsible actor within the coffee supply chain.
Export To Daarnhower
During the 1970s, Menacom exported through two channels. In this picture a trans shipment was conducted out of Lhoksemawe, Aceh heading to Singapore. In another channel, coffee was transported using train to besitang before moving to Medan.
HQ Set Up in Medan
As the operation rode the 1st wave of coffee, PT Menacom expanded its operation to Medan based in Jl Turi in 1976.
Farmer Group Starbucks
In 2000’s, PT Menacom was one of the first few exporters to be assigned CAFE practices – managing over 4000 farmers to export to Starbucks.
Second HQ in Patumbak
At its Peak, PT Menacom employed more than 350 hand pickers processing over 5,000t of green coffee bean.
Musfaha Operation Today
Today, Musfaha Coffee processes over 4,000t of coffee per annum.

Pak Aam began his journey with Menacom in 2014 as a Field Officer, adding his expertise to our field-related initiatives. In his free time, Pak Aam enjoys the thrill of playing soccer.
Pak Ikhsan
Traffic
Pak Ikhsan initiated his role within the Logistics Department of Musfaha in July 2021, specifically handling traffic-related tasks. Off the clock, he’s an avid soccer player.
Bu Meutia
Accounts
In 2014, Mrs. Meuthia assumed the position of Accounts at Menacom, where she manages all office finances. Her excellence in this role persists following the transition from Menacom to Musfaha.
Bu Mutia
Accounts
Bu Mutia has been an integral part of Menacom’s Accounts department since 2004. Bu Mutia oversees Musfaha’s financial matters with meticulous dedication. In her leisure moments, she finds solace in music.

Hired as a driver for Musfaha in 2021, Pak Hendra also lends his support to various administrative tasks within the company. Beyond his professional role, he nurtures his passion for travel.
